Born with fire in his lungs and rhythm in his soul

The Mad Stuntman (Mark Quashie) is a Trinidadian-American powerhouse whose voice has reverberated across clubs, stadiums, and screens around the world.

A trailblazer of reggae fusion and a global face of electronic dance music, his sound is as unforgettable as his name — raw, rhythmic, and larger than life. Hailing from the vibrant heart of Trinidad and Tobago, and later igniting stages across the United States, Stuntman skyrocketed to fame in the early '90s as the unmistakable voice behind Reel 2 Real’s global smash “I Like to Move It.” What began as an underground dance floor anthem quickly exploded into a pop culture staple — featured in DreamWorks' Madagascar, Saving Silverman, and countless video games and commercials. With his raspy chant and magnetic energy, he didn’t just ride the wave of EDM — he helped shape it. From the jump, Stuntman’s music wasn’t just catchy — it was movement. Blending the spirit of soca, dancehall, and reggae with pounding electronic beats, he became a genre-bending innovator long before it was fashionable. Whether performing in front of packed clubs, world stages, or massive global events like the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, The Mad Stuntman remains a sonic force and a living legend. Now, decades into a career that’s seen the world spin to his rhythm, Stuntman is writing a bold new chapter. In 2025, he teamed up with international DJ and producer Pabanor for the fiery new single “Gotta Look Good,” a high-voltage anthem available now on all streaming platforms, with a vibrant music video lighting up YouTube. The collaboration is a testament to his relentless creativity and refusal to be boxed in.

But he’s far from done and there is a lot More to come The 90s was Just the Begining.

Currently back in the lab with Pabanor, The Mad Stuntman – Reel 2 Real is crafting a string of powerhouse collaborations with a diverse lineup of artists that spans continents and genres — including Max-A-Million, Freedom Williams (C+C Music Factory), Snatcch, Steven Avi “El Gato”, Li-Ann, Moeazy, Braveboy, So Unique, Day Ja La Loba, U4riah, Jabali Africa, and Denise Belfon. Together, they’re forging the next wave of sound — one that’s as bold, infectious, and genre-defying as the man behind the mic.  Through every hook, every beat, and every booming chant, The Mad Stuntman isn’t just making music — he’s making history.
